Are you lazy? Well, there’s a pretty good chance you are in this day and age. Hey, we’re not judging. But if you want to be a true “lazy pro,” you should really check out popular YouTuber Wengie’s latest life hack video designed just for lazy people.
When you feel like eating but don’t feel like cooking, Wengie suggests making one of her microwaveable mug recipes. Her first recipe is for a “lentil pizza in a mug.” All you have to do is pour these ingredients into your mug/bowl: three to four tablespoons of mixed beans, a few veggie toppings of your choice, marinara sauce, Italian herbs, and one tablespoon of mozzarella cheese. Once all of the ingredients are in the mug, put it in the microwave for one minute and enjoy.
If you want a super simple dessert, try out Wengie’s chocolate microwaveable mug recipe. Wengie suggests using two tablespoons of wholemeal self-raising flour, one tablespoon of natural sweetener, one tablespoon of baking powder, one tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, two tablespoons of almond milk, one teaspoon of coconut oil, and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract. You can also add a few chocolate chips if you’d like before mixing up all the ingredients in your mug. Once all of the ingredients are well mixed, just put it in the microwave on high for about 45 seconds. And that’s it. Yep, it’s really that simple. By the way, Wengie said you could add some vanilla ice cream and/or mixed berries afterwards to make this delicious dessert super healthy.
Next, Wengie suggests scrunching your bag of chips up from the bottom until the chips are almost overflowing. This is especially helpful for people who hate reaching down to the bottom of their potato chip bags.
Wengie’s next life hack is great for yogurt lovers. After you lick the yogurt off of the lid, don’t throw the lid away. Fold the lid in half and then fold the edges inwards until you have a narrow handle. After you curve the front to your liking, you should have a perfectly useable “lid-spoon.”
Yet another one of Wengie’s wonderful life hacks is for cotton clothing only. If you’re running late for an appointment and need to iron your collar in a pinch, she suggests using your hair straightener. Just be sure never to use this tip on silk products.
